Co-create - Urban Resilience
Through the Co-create programme, Innoviris wishes to bring closer the Brussels population, the world of research and innovation and the corporate world.
Therefore, this programme targets applied research and innovation projects which will be part of a co-creation dynamic and will be implemented in living labs which they will establish with the end users as partners.

The Co-create action for urban resilience in the Brussels-Capital Region
In 2015, Innoviris inaugurated its new Co-create action, devoting it to the theme of sustainable food systems. On the basis of this first experience, Innoviris has decided in 2016 to revise the framework of the initiative and to launch a new version of the Co-create programme focusing on urban resilience.
Since then, Innoviris launches every year a projet call for urban resilience.
The Co-create action is based on three pillars:
For urban resilience
Brussels entities able to submit an application to Innoviris in the frame of this call for projects are:
research organisations (higher education institutions and collective research centres) located in the Brussels-Capital Region.
Freelancers who are not associated with one of the legal entities corresponding to those mentioned above may not submit an application. Nevertheless, they may participate in a project as a sub-contractor.
The project may be presented by a Brussels entity (isolated entity or a consortium of Brussels entities. In the case of a consortium project, a coordinator must be identified. This will act as the main contact and will be responsible for the project's internal communication.
Type and duration of financial intervention
Financial aid may be allocated as a grant.
Projects may not under any circumstances exceed 3 years.
Rate of intervention (maximum)
The rate of intervention covers 100% of the budget of each project partner.
