Co-Create - Living Labs for sustainable food systems in the Brussels-Capital Region

Through the Co-create programme, Innoviris wishes to bring closer the Brussels population, the world of research and innovation and the corporate world.

Therefore, this programme targets applied research and innovation projects which will be part of a co-creation dynamic and will be implemented in living labs which they will establish with the end users as partners.

The Co-create programme for sustainable food systems in the Brussels-Capital Region.

The first phase of the Co-create programme is launched by Innoviris in the frame of line 4 "Sustainable food" of the Alliance for Employment and the Environment. Co-creation projects may be financed in this frame from 2015 onwards.

An event was organised on 1 October 2014 in order to inform potential candidates about the conditions for the programme and the deadlines for submitting applications. For further information, please consult our calendar.


Brussels entities able to submit an application to Innoviris in the frame of this call for projects are:

Freelancers who are not associated with one of the legal entities corresponding to those mentioned above may not submit an application. Nevertheless, they may participate in a project as a sub-contractor.

The project may be presented by a Brussels entity (isolated entity or a consortium of Brussels entities.  In the case of a consortium project, a coordinator must be identified. This will act as the main contact and will be responsible for the project's internal communication.


Expressions of interest were submitted to Innoviris by the isolated entity or the coordinator at the very latest on 01/12/2014.

After an evaluation procedure was carried out by Innoviris, only those who presented the expressions of interest selected are be able to submit a final proposal.

The final proposals must be submitted to Innoviris by the isolated entity or the coordinator at the very latest by midday on 30/03/2015 using a form available in the French version of the toolbox.
