Do you want a better valorisation of the cycle of materials in a particular sector, but you don’t quite know where to start?

Do you have an idea to reduce the chemical hazard in the sector in which you are active? Or do you want to optimize a work process?

Then the new Bridge project call may be something for you!

About Bridge

The Bridge programme supports the creation of collaborative and multidisciplinary research projects in priority fields for the Brussels-Capital Region and that hold a short- to mid-term valorisation potential in the Region.

Projects with maximum collaboration between a consortium of several research groups and the industrial, non-profit or institutional sectors are strongly encouraged. The aim of these interactions is to strengthen the transfer of technologies and knowledge from the projects to the Brussels industrial associative and institutional fabric.

Each year a project call is opened for this programme. This year’s theme is ‘Green Chemistry’.

Aims of this project call?

The aim of this project call is to fund R&D projects developed by multiple project partners which focus on the study and development of innovative chemical products or processes according to the principles of Green Chemistry. Projects must provide a mid-term valorisation potential for the Brussels-Capital Region.

In order to be eligible for Bridge funding, researchers must form a consortium with research groups from at least two different universities, supported by at least one person from the Brussels private, associative or institutional sector.
